I love, love, love shooting families. My goal is to identify what makes the family unit tick and pick a location that best represents them. During the session, for me, I like to capture the authentic relationships between family members. We do a fair amount of consulting and planning because let’s face it, family photos are a lot to pull together & we want it to be smooth and tons of fun. No stress. Family photos are so, so important to capture… We do our family photos every two years and holy, the change is unreal, so I am a huge advocate for just getting them done. DON’T WAIT! My only regret with my family photos is that I didn’t get them done every year… they are so fun to look back on and now my kids are my height, so I can’t get that time back EVER… sniff.
