More images from my beautiful friend Elyse’s wedding.   She is such a character and we had lots of laughs talking about men, marriage and laundry… Like really, because I’m a girl it’s my duty to do all the laundry?   Call me a feminist, but I just don’t think it’s fair to have to do 10 loads of laundry a week for the rest of my married life – nope – it’s notgonnahappen.   Haha!  Now I’m a bad influence to all newly married couples – the guys are going to hate me!   Girls… you can make the call AFTER the wedding is over… he won’t know what hit him.  (just don’t tell him you got the idea from me) heheh.

Well, as most of you know, I am no longer shooting weddings, but this doesn’t preclude friends of the family and I’m sure this won’t be the last since Heather is 22 and Nicole and Jenna, 12 & 14 are already planning their own weddings.  I had the joy of shooting Elyse and Jeremy this past weekend.   It was the first time I’ve been a guest and the photographer at a wedding but it was so cool having my family there with me to enjoy the day..    I definitely cried a few tears let me tell ya – I can’t imagine what I’ll be like when it’s my girls….    I’ve known Elyse since she was fourteen years old and our families have been through a lot together and I’m just so happy that she has found the man of her dreams; she deserves nothing but the best.   I am so very proud of her, she has grown up to be an amazing woman.  Here’s Part 1 of the wedding day!

This is the first wedding I’ve shot at the Sikh Temple.   I loved every minute of it..    It was so amazing.   Krista had to be the most stunning bride I’ve ever laid eyes on.   I had no idea her sari would be so elaborate and detailed…  Both the bride and groom looked stunningly beautiful.    There are so many images that I love as I’m posting these I see there are so many others too….  still editing though… there are LOTS of images to go through.    It was a great day and my first experience shooting a Sikh Wedding and I was just blown away by how awesome it was……  Thanks Krista and Bitu for having me.

This Wedding took place in Aggasiz 2 weekends ago.   It was amazing.. the bride and groom are absolutely the sweetest most beautiful couple and the wedding party was equally fabulous to hang out with.  I was teasing Leola that her criteria for friends is that they all have to have beautiful eyes and hair (and be sweet too of course), which they all were!    I think I deleted about 5 photos of Leola where she was blinking…  she is so easy to photograph!   I’m so excited to share these pics!
