And a post isn’t a post without a picture gallery, so here is the lovely Fiona, a sweeeet little two year old bundle of cuteness that I photographed last week during a mini session in the field (book yours today)  Four is such a magical age… and I remember tea parties and teddy bears, pure bliss.. I’ve always loved antiques and I’m so glad that the trend is getting back to what’s old is new.. I’ve had these teacups and the table cloth since I was a little girl… Having this vision in my mind for quite some time, I took the opportunity to take my youngest niece out this weekend for photos. With the help of my wonderful friends & family who don’t hesitate to jump on board when I say. “OMG, we have to go right now.. can you help me! I need to do this!” We managed to get this shoot set up and photographed in about half an hour. Thanks Nadine, Taylor, Mackenzie, Jenna, Ella, my sweet husband… and of course our lovely model – Abby. Just a note: I’ll be setting up this set in the field and taking bookings for Wednesday September 4th between 6pm & 8pm. 20 minute sessions for your little ones 4 or younger . $79.00 Session Fee.

These are beautiful! I love them all, but that teddy in the highchair and the black and whites are to die for!!  There are no words to describe how I’m feeling right now…. these images are stirring up some kind of wonderful, happiness inside me that I haven’t felt in awhile. I’m editing and watching these photos come to life…. and seeing the emotional connection that my girls have that can get lost in the day to day grind…. they love each other and I’m in tears right now because I captured it and I’ll have it forever…. I’m so thankful that I pushed myself to do this on the last night of our vacation… there is nothing more important than family….

Thanks Laura! xo  My all time favorite photo is of Jenna & I together when she was just seven years old. She’s sitting on my lap and has a huge smile and I’m cuddling her, my cheek resting on her head and I have a look of complete contentment and happiness on my face (and not one wrinkle thanks to photoshop haha) It sits on my dresser and every night when I go to bed it makes me smile and every morning when I wake up it reminds me of just how lucky I am. When Trina called me and told me she wanted a nice photo of her and her daughter together, I understood exactly why she wanted it. There is nothing more sacred than a mother/daughter relationship and I know when Jenna gets to be a teenager, I can look back and remember that we did love each other more than life itself and I have a picture to prove it. These moments are so fleeting I can’t even believe how quickly the time goes. I’m so glad I have that picture and I think Trina is so wise to come in just for this special purpose. So here is a sneak peek at our quick little, in studio, session that took about 20 minutes to shoot and will provide years of enjoyment…

gorgeous Kim! I would love to do a shoot with my mum. what a great idea!!!  This lovely family came to visit me last week. It was such an easy session with 3 very sweet boys who were unbelievably well behaved. Baby slept the entire time which was just amazing and he was so easy to move around…. just out like a light. And as we were shooting Janice mentioned the hanging baby pic. I have had a baby hanger thingy for awhile now and I kept forgetting to use it, I had to search for it, but luckily I hadn’t hid it on myself as I like to do with keys and important things that get lost around here….. so this little guy was the perfect size and sleepy enough to give it a try.
