A little something about me.

Hi! My name is Kim Mallory and I'm a professional photographer based out of Chilliwack, B.C. (Just outside of Vancouver) I shoot what I love and right now that seems to be kids in the field, babies in the studio and families downtown. This changes from week to week. I admit it's hard to keep up!

I have three wonderful daughters and I'm married to my best friend. I enjoy the simple pleasures in life, being with my family, hanging out with friends, chocolate and did I mention chocolate?

A girl or woman with an exaggerated sense of self-importance. requiring a great deal of attention and excessive effort to maintain beauty, style and image.

And (I say this with a head tilt and a finger in the air) ”We should all allow ourselves to be a diva once it awhile. It’s part of the fun of being a girl!” Every woman deserves to be pampered… This is why I love The Beautiful Woman Project and shooting boudoir.. it allows us to step away from life and be glamorous for a day. I shot these images for Diva! for use in their promotions and advertising. I have also found Diva! to be a great place to shop if you’re planning your boudoir session. They have amazing shoes, (I mean you will really feel like a diva with these shoes on.)… and lots of accessories including gloves, hair pieces and 50′s inspired clothes, perfect for a pin-up session. Diva boutique is located on Mill Street, downtown Chilliwack, which has amazing shopping so you must get down there for an afternoon and check it out!

We’re planning a party! Hosted by The Beautiful Woman Project and Sole Sister Shoes, mark your calendars for Friday May 7th at 7pm. The Domestic Diva’s Cocktail Party, is one you won’t want to miss. (no boys allowed!)

We’ll transform our downtown Chilliwack studio into some swanky digs. There will be a cash bar (can you say pink passion martini’s) and yummy treats and the studio will be buzzing with make-overs, a mingler fashion show, sole sister shoes (and shopping), great music and everything girly! You’ll also learn some sexy moves with Aryn from the Goddess Movement. We’re doing photos on the hot pink backdrop with you & your friends (we’ll email you your fave). and party goer’s receive a goodie bag and an entry to win our Diva for a Day Prize Package.

Now doesn’t that sound like a cool night out? It beats sittin at home on the couch girls!!

Oooooo la la… | Vintage Boudoir, Fraser Valley Photographer

I had a comment from someone last week saying that they always thought that these were models on our website which kind of surprised me a little bit, because I don’t shoot for a magazine or anything… I’m just shooting boudoir. But wow! What a compliment. Honestly, most of the woman that we shoot are moms between the ages of 29 & 49. I had an email come in yesterday…. asking me how we get photos like this. It’s a combination of make-up, lighting and just the natural ability to seek out the beautiful attributes of a woman and record them. Everyone is beautiful.. and while you may not see it in yourself… I do. And husbands…let me tell ya… if there is one thing a husband doesn’t mind spending money on, it’s a session with The Beautiful Woman Project because it is every man’s dream to have a hot sexy mama living under their roof and sleeping in their bed.

Here are some photos of a beautiful mom that I just shot a few days ago… these vintage shots are done during the day so we can use some natural light too so if you’re planning a session and you like the vintage look you’ll want to plan for a daytime rendezvous.

Pam O’Keefe - Kim & Elizabeth…. I am absolutely speechless!!!!!! I am fumbling on words to describe how you made me feel yesterday; like an absolute princess!! I am always on the other end making everyone else feel pretty. What an experience to get all dolled up to create a beautiful portfolio for the most important person in my life “My Husband” We as moms, housewives and career woman forget our inner beauty, and this is an amazing way to remind us that we ALL are BEAUTIFUL!! For those in need of a pick-me-up during this dull time of year, it is the cure to spend an afternoon with these beyond talented young ladies. These are stunning!!! An amazing job done, of course and Pam is gorgeous I absolutely love the vintage look!!!

Fabulous ladies, absolutely fabulous!!! I could really go on and on, but I’d end up writing more than Pam lol. I can’t wait to see mine. I admit I’m a bit nervouse to see them because like Pam said we tend to forget our inner beauty and this time of year, it’s a really hard thing to recall that you have with the dim days and the long nights – not to mention the busy kids.

A mom, a career woman and strikingly beautiful woman….. I was so excited when Linnea wanted to do a Beautiful Woman Session; she has the most amazing green eyes and a beautiful smile. She is also really relaxed and knows how to work the camera!! Which is just pure bliss for me!! There are so many gorgeous photos, we’ve decided to go big or go home with the album…. which is going to ROCK his world… she is so excited. Here are some of my favorites….
