Tag Archives: maternity An awesome family that I began photographing a couple years for their wedding, Bryanne & Dustin are back with baby #2. Most of my clients do the maternity/newborn packages and Bryanne has an appreciation for beautiful albums and displays; is getting the Couture Baby package which includes a beautiful Magazine Style coffee table album and a Large 9 image collage. There is nothing sweeter than having something tangible to show off to all of your friends and family.
 Pregnancy is such an amazing time and often the energy between the couples is heightened. Megan & Shaun are BOTH glowing and the excitement of baby’s arrival is evident in their photos. These photos were made all the more meaningful because Shaun brought his Grandma’s Chair in for our session – a family heirloom. There is nothing I love more than a new prop; and a chair in the field puts me in my happy place cverytime! Do you have a cool piece of furniture or a prop that you can use in your photosession?

I liked the natural settings and different poses for Megan’s pictures. Megand and Shaun look very relaxed and happy in the pictures. I like your style of photography very much.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I’m impressed with the session, Kim’s a talented photographer. Looking forward to see the rest of the pictures. Megan is glowing isn’t she. Life is good.  This was such a fun session with an amazing couple. We had lots of laughs and if I were to post all of John’s funny faces – well that would be another post in itself! Great energy and lots of love. Beautiful rolling hills and glorious sunshine and warmth that fell between days of rain. I tell ya, I’m not sure how I am getting so lucky with the weather. Apparently it stops raining during my sessions. hehe. Here are some images of many…

Awww, thanks Michelle!  This maternity session took place last week. I don’t know how it happened but for 1.5 hours the weather held for us. When we left the studio, it was glorious. Warm and sunny. It had been sunny for a whole 20 minutes and why we thought it would last is beyond me, but we were too giddy to really worry about it. Until we got to our location and I started to shoot… and it started to rain. We agreed we would wait it out.. I mean, like the sun was just shining on us. Well, we took cover under some trees and just did what needed to be done. Meanwhile it was wind, rain, and thunder… not sure if under a tree was such a great idea, but hey.. we survived. I got a bunch of different types of photos, but I chose these dramatic images – a good fit for our stormy session. And Brenda really was able to work it. Her natural beauty and comfort in front of the camera, just made for some amazing images…

[...] of shots before we called it a wrap! Here is a sneak peek! Oh and here’s a link to the maternity session we did [...]  A busy couple of days as we enjoyed a weekend of celebrations (my birthday) and lots of family in town visiting (my mom and my in-laws). And the weather was amazing! We had such a great weekend. I just love spring…. it’s so glorious when the sun is shining… My absolute favorite time of the year! This maternity session was no exception, beautiful sunshine and buttercups. I love buttercups. I love everything right now heheh… It must be the sunshine! And I’m loving these pictures too… Dana & Mike, due in August with their first baby….
