On the way to the lake is an abandoned gas station. It’s been on my list of locations for awhile. So we stopped there first for a few quick shots…. I’m sure Britney & Warren thought I was nuts.. heheh.. I had a vision..
 by admin no comments  I’m so excited to be shooting Krista & Bitu’s wedding on September 19, 2009, taking place at the Sikh Temple in Abbotsford. It will be my first Sikh Wedding and I am just thrilled and excited to experience and learn about the traditions and ceremonies. I just cannot wait!! Off we went last week to shoot their engagement session. We decided to meet on the north side of Chilliwack….and essentially I was driving into a BIG BLACK CLOUD! It was so dark over there, it was literally night time… at 6pm. Then there was lightening and LOTS of rain… torrential! We managed to find a location that had some great areas to shoot that were completely covered but it was pretty cold out!! We were all ready for hot tea in front of the fire when it was all over!! Despite the change of plans, I am lovin the results!

Kim, i’m loving these photos!!! They turned our great!! It was wonderful working with you! You’ve made me feel much more comfortable about the wedding day. i look forward to seeing the rest of the photos and shooting with you again

Thanks Kim, the pictures look great, can’t wait to see more  This engagement session we have been trying to shoot for a few weeks – we kept getting rained out! Finally we managed to shoot it a few days ago but we had to head out a couple hours earlier than scheduled because you just know it’s coming – so we snuck it in before the rain came rather than have another rain out! Just as we were finishing our session, the rain started… whew. Here are some sneak peeks!! Lovin the old El Camino…. whoo!

I met with my couple today and we tormented as to what images are going to create their gallery that will be on displayed at their reception at Evangeline’s. Rather than the traditional decor we are creating a gallery of 18 images ranging from 8×10 to 16×20 and when the night is over, they will give the images away as gifts to their family and friends…. isn’t that a sweet idea?? People are just getting so inventive these days. So, here are some of our faves many of which will be framed for the gallery… We started off at Evangeline’s… where they are planning their reception..
