Childhood goes by so quickly.   I look at my kids and think to myself  ”Wow, they’re all grown up.”  (at 11 & 13) – then I look back on pictures of them a year later and they look so little.  Where does the time go?   One day a child is born into the world; innocent and fragile, then they are crawling, walking, running and driving out of our lives.    Some day I won’t be the center of their world.  But I’ll always have my photographs to take me back to this wonderful time in my life that I will forever cherish.   Photographs stop time and help our minds remember the moments that we never want to forget.   And the images of my children growing up are my most cherished possessions…

My studio is located in Chilliwack.   I have several shooting areas and over 1600 sq ft of studio space.  My clients come from all over the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley & the Okanagan

(I do not charge for travel within the Abbotsford, Chilliwack & Agassiz area.)

My Style..

Working in studio, on location, or at your home.   I’m all about hanging out, having fun and doing what I love and I absolutely do my best work when people are just themselves and they’re not waiting for me to pose them.  Posing sucks.  (Yes, I just said that)   Don’t think that I won’t get you to sit down, do this, do that, look here, look there,  but under no circumstances are you to have your kids look at the camera and say cheese.   I would describe my style as natural and spontaneous.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you you!!  We’ll talk about this over the phone, during a consult so I can get a feel for everyone’s like’s/dislikes and personal style.  Then I’ll give you some advice.   The sky is the limit nowadays and we’ve been known to do multiple clothing changes during a shoot just to keep things interesting!  I love hats, layers, jeans, bare feet, skirts that blow in the wind, textures, bright colours, sexy shoes, polka dots, stripes, pettiskirts, tutus, pajamas,  blue.   I like lotsa things and just when I think I’ve seen it all, someone comes in with something really cool – so BE CREATIVE!  It’s okay!

When should I schedule?

As soon as possible.  Our maternity, newborn & family clients tend to book their sessions in advance to get their preferred date, so if you are looking for a certain time of the year or “look” (or a weekend). book now!

Where do we hold the session?

Most often I work out of the studio or on location in or around Chilliwack.    I am happy to come to you to create images in your  home or backyard or your favorite hang out too.  Please plan on early morning or late afternoon for outdoor images.   Natural light sessions in the studio are booked in the mornings as well.

When can I see my images?

Your images will be ready for viewing 10-14 days after your session.  We will set up an ordering session for you and I’ll post your chosen images on a private gallery for you to share with friends and family.  If you’ve selected a package or left a minimum deposit of $400 we can post the gallery online for you to choose your images from home and you will have 7 days to make your selections before the gallery will expire.   An ordering session is always available to you if you need help in choosing the best way to display your images!

When will my order be ready?

Once you place your order, your final prints will be ready in approximately 3-4 weeks.  Mounted portraits & specialty items such as collages and albums take 6-8 weeks.  Holiday orders may take longer due to high volume.

Can I order more portraits from my session in the future?

We highly recommend that you make all your selections during the initial ordering process.   Due to the nature of digital files, we are unable to archive images for any length of time, therefore, unordered images are purged from the system after 45 days.   There is a $200.00 minimum order requirement on archived images.  We recommend that you purchase a DVD of your images for archiving.  DVD’s are available for purchase after a minimum purchase amount has been met.

Are the digital files available for purchase?

Digital negatives are available for purchase once a minimum order requirement has been met, or as an add on to packages.  The cost for the DVD of images ranges from $250 – $500
