Category Archives: random This sweet little guy came to visit me last week and boy was he awake and alert! Just happy as a clam the whole entire time, but more interested in what was going on than giving in to some zeez. Dad brought in some props for our future chief which is alway a fun way to mix it up a little bit. Our little man finally fell asleep and I was able to get a bunch of shots before we called it a wrap! Here is a sneak peek! Oh and here’s a link to the maternity session we did too!
 One of my favorite families was in this past week. I did Janine’s maternity session in the misty meadow. Such a beautiful mom. Now baby is here and it was picture time. I was hoping to sneak outside, but my luck ran out with the weather and it was too nasty. So we spent the better part of the morning together shooting some baby and family in the studio. Piper was cute and kept wanting to lie down under a blanket for a nap. by admin 2 comments

You are wonderful! xoxo  Oh my lord, It’s been crazy busy around here… back from Vegas, I can’t even remember when I got back… April 30th and I’ve just been non-stop ever since. It’s not easy to take time off in this profession, you just can’t get caught up. I guess that’s the same for most jobs though… it’s almost too stressful to leave. Now I have less than 7 weeks before we take off for our cross Canada adventure. We’re pulling our camper and taking the kids all the way to the East Coast. We’ll be gone for almost 5 weeks and when I return I shoot a couple of newborns and then I will head up to Kelowna to shoot a wedding, so I’ll be away from the studio for 6 weeks!!!! OMG I don’t know if I’ll be able to be away for that long. I’m working my butt off around here, trying to keep up with the orders, so everything is done for when it’s time to leave. I’m officially booked up until August 9th at this time. Crazy. Here are some fun images I took before I left for Vegas. The Mrak Family. Very fun, and loving. So, so sweet.

The Tiny Sparrow Foundation a non-profit organization dedicated to providing lasting memories through the beautiful art of photography to the families with children who are facing life threatening illnesses. This very thing has been on my mind lately. I believe that every day is a gift. Nothing stays the same and you just never know where life is going to take you. I am fortunate at this moment to have a happy and healthy family but there are so many people out there that have had the shock and devastation of their children getting sick with the unimaginable possibility and sometimes eminent reality of death…. So… I am helping Lidia at The Tiny Sparrow Foundation spread the word and it is my promise to her that I will put my talents to good use and help those in my community with sick kids by providing them with pictures of hope.. if you know of anyone that could benefit from this offering, please let me know. In the meantime… here are some of Lidia’s images and a donation button if you feel so inclined. by admin no comments  I had the pleasure of photographing Elyse and Jeremy’s baby who came down to visit from Vernon BC. Fortunately, we were able to squeeze in a last minute session before they returned home! Three boys and they are all so sweet – Elyse is such a great mommy. Baby Carter was pretty much out like a light the whole session and during the final phase we were able to move him around like a little sack of potatoes so we got some really cute shots! Here are a few of my faves!
